Sun Stripping

Sun Stripping

Sun Stripping? I’m sure you guys are a little confused. It’s not what you think or maybe it is, but either way it’s a new trend for bronzing up your face. I’m sure you’ve heard the weird terms like strobing, baking, highlighting, and contouring, and apparently this is the up and coming new trend to get that sun kissed glow. It gives you a super natural tanned look, like you spent just a little too much time out in the sun. If you’re over contouring or feel like it’s a little too harsh for you this may be what you’re looking for. I really like this trend since I’m almost always covering up my face and neck when I’m out tanning my body. So to learn a new way to look like I’ve actually tanned my face is great. Follow the steps below to get this natural bronzed look

Sun Stripping

  1. Get any liquid or cream bronzer and a synthetic brush to blend it out
  2. Start at the highest points of your cheekbones and buff the product in small circles from one cheekbone to the other and across the bridge of the nose
  3. This is where the sun would naturally hit
  4. To keep this from looking strange and mask like make sure to take the bronzer up above the brows and along the hairline as well
  5. Set you face with some translucent powder and go over with a matte bronzer or one with a slight shimmer to complete the look

The final product should look like you have that sunburn that just turned into a tan. Here is a great tutorial from Pixi Woo
