Johnny Concert Eyeshadows

Johnny Concert | Organic Makeup

I’m so happy I found this brand on Instagram! They make extremely gorgeous and pigmented eyeshadows that are non toxic! Another huge plus is that they are pressed instead of loose, I’m sorry but I can’t get behind the loose eyeshadows, I hated them back in my Bare Escentuals days and I hate them now. Okay maybe hate is a a strong word, but I highly dislike them. These amplified shadows have super clean ingredients, and are also organic. The shades are colorful and bright, which is fun because I think it’s hard to find fun bold colors in the Green Beauty world. They have great staying power and blended out beautifully. Below is from the website:

  • NO FD&C DYES
  • NO TALC
  • NO BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE
  • NO GLUTEN
  • NO PARABENS
  • NO PHTHLATES
  • NO ANIMAL BY PRODUCT
  • NO ANIMAL TESTING
  • NO ADDED FRAGRANCE

Bottom to Top: Electric Heart, Acid Mermaid, Love Bud, Highest Voltage, and Radio Active

I love all of these shades but I think right now my favorite has to be Electric Heart! So pretty for Spring and Summer. Radio Active is super cool, its a duo-chrome shade that has metallic blue and green shifts to it depending on the light and angle.

Right now on the website they only have the amplified eyeshadows and you can purchase them in a container or just in pan form, so you can put them in a custom palette. In the container they are $13 and in the pan they are $10, so as you can see they are super affordable for such a great product. There is a section for Face and Lips on the website that says coming soon, and I’m super excited to see what they come out with next!

Here is a link if you want to see the full ingredient list 🙂

What I’m Wearing:

Face:

Eyes:

  • Johnny Concert eyeshadow in Electric Heart all over the lid and on the lower lash line. Use any type of flat packing brush to apply this to the lid up until the crease with a brush like this one from Morphe and then use a clean blending brush to buff out the edges so you don’t end up with any harsh lines
  • Johnny Concert eyeshadow in Acid Mermaid on the outer half of the lower lash line applied with a pencil brush
  • Hynt Beauty Nocturne Mascara
  • Pacifica Beauty Liner in Bare on my waterline
  • Ecobrow in Marilyn
