I first discovered Glory Boon while researching natural makeup brands on Etsy. They also have a direct website you can order from as well. They are based in Connecticut and they make their products in small batches using natural and raw ingredients. The eyeshadows are one hundred percent all natural, organic, vegan, and cruelty free. There are twelve shades total in the collection, with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. I picked up four matte shades, that are perfect for everyday wear. Keep on reading if you want to see my thoughts and pictures!
Vanilla Creme – is a beautiful matte cream color. This is great for all over your lid and for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes.
Sweet Latte – this is a pretty muted mauvey pink shade. This looks great all over the lid or through the crease as a nice transition shade.
Sugar Cookie – this is a beautiful warm toned sort of caramel brown color. Sorry i’m no expert at describing colors! This would be beautiful all over the lid or in the crease.
Cocoa – this shade is exactly like its name, just a nice dark cool brown shade. This is a great shade for deepening up the outer crease and also for smoking out the lower lash line.
L to R: Vanilla Creme, Sweet Latte, Sugar Cookie, Cocoa
Overall Thoughts – I think these have great pigmentation, apply smoothly and blend out very nicely as well. I love that they are pressed and have such clean ingredients! These do have a decent amount of kick up in the pan when you put your brush into the shadow, but I just make sure to tap off the excess and I’m good to go. I did order one of the shimmers in Ginger as well and it was super pigmented and beautiful but I had an almost identical color from Luka Cosmetics in Duchess so I decided to return that one. Overall I really like these shadows, they retail for $12.99 so the price point is great, if you’re looking to try a few! I also love their new liquid lipsticks, I have a review Here if you wanna check that out before you make any purchases!
In the above pictures I have Vanilla Creme all over my lid and under my brow bone, Sweet Latte Blended into my crease as a transition shade, Sugar Cookie throughout my crease and on my lower lash line, and Cocoa on the outer V part of my eye.
Hopefully this was helpful! Let me know if you’ve tried any of the Glory Boon products 🙂
