Clove + Hallow Review

I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted! But I had to get on here and talk about CLOVE + HALLOW

This brand is absolutely gorgeous, started by Sarah Biggers a professional makeup artist, so you know it’s going to be good! She had a mystery illness which led her to change lifestyle habits and led her to detoxifying her makeup as well.

I absolutely love the packaging, I swear half the time I buy things because of that reason alone. The performance on these products are top notch as well. Alright enough let me just get into it…

Lip Crème

I have the shades Ballerina Slippers and Desert Rose. These definitely remind me of my old conventional lipsticks, pigmented, creamy, and great wear time. They have a nice hydrating satin finish to them. There are 9 shades total and they are 91% Natural and 24% Organic. These are also Cruelty Free and Vegan. Check them out here: Lip Crème

Lip Glaze

I have the shade Angelic, it’s a gorgeous mauvey/nude pink. These are 99% Natural and 64% Organic. I love that these are really pigmented but don’t leave your lips feeling sticky at all. You can wear these alone or over a lipstick. Check them out here: Lip Glaze

Lip Velvet

I picked up the shades Cupcake and Fiesta. If you want a legit matte liquid lip that stays put, this is it. This is the best liquid lipstick I’ve tried since transitioning into Green Beauty. I ate dinner with this on and towards the end of the night it slightly started to fade in the middle but not in that super ugly way, you know what I’m talking about. Definitely get these if you’re into a matte lip that stays on. Check them out here

Conceal + Correct

Umm hi, you guys, my dreams came true with this product, I’ve been dying for a concealer with the wand application. This concealer is so lightweight, super pigmented, easily blendable, and has awesome coverage, and the best part, little to no creasing! I might even need to pick up a darker shade to contour with because they are so convenient and affordable at just $18, oh and there are 14 shades total. Highly, highly recommend checking these out, I’m a ride or die Hynt Beauty Concealer girl but this  might be a tie, and the packaging is everything. I got the shade 02 which is perfect for me, it has yellow undertones. Check them out here

Pressed Mineral Foundation

Love that this is pressed of course, the less mess the better. I chose the shade 03 which is good for my light skin and has more of a yellow undertone to it. This has a beautiful satin finish, when you swatch this heavily it has a slight shimmer to it but not in a bad over the top way. I used this to set my foundation and it gave great additional coverage and a beautiful finish to my skin. They also have a great shade range with 14 shades, so most people should be able to find a match. Pick out your shade here: Pressed Mineral Foundation

Everything looks great! I just wish the lip velvets came in more colors because there isn’t a shade I’m in love with. I would love to try the concealer as well because I’m ride or die for the Hynt one too, but it’s not the best for the undereyes. Great review!

Hey Savanna, thanks! You should try the concealer for sure 🙂 I know, I’m sure they will be coming out with more shades in the lip velvets soon!
