Clean Living Collection

Clean Living Collection|Organic Skincare|Non Toxic Skincare

I found Clean Living Collection on Instagram and had been wanting to try their products for a while. Their products are handcrafted in small batches in The Bay Area, which I love because I’m from Northern California. They use 100% Certified Organic and non GMO ingredients. There are also no fillers, colors, or synthetic perfumes. All the ingredients used are in their least processed state so they provide maximum benefits.

What I ordered:

  • Organic Whipped Body Butter in Citrus Blossom and Vanilla Almond – These both smell amazing and are super moisturizing. These are a nice thick body butters that easily spread onto the skin and sink in quickly, leaving your skin feeling moisturized and not greasy.
  • 5 Spice Manuka Mask – This mask uses REAL New Zealand Manuka honey. The Manuka honey used has a UMF +16 which stands for Unique Manuka Factor, on the scale this is a superior high-grade level. In order for it to be real Manuka Honey there must be a UMF. This mask claims to be skin regenerating, acne fighting, moisturizing, cleansing, and firming. I’ll list the ingredients and some of the benefits. Honey: antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and is a natural humectant (draws moisture to the skin). Cinnamon: stimulates blood vessels and brings blood flow to the face to plump fine lines and help diminish wrinkles. Cinnamon is also good for fighting acne since it is an antibacterial. Turmeric: is a great exfoliant and helps promote cell turnover. Turmeric is also great for fighting acne because it helps diminish inflammation and scars as well as helps reduce oil secretion. Ginger: Great for anti-aging because of all the antioxidants. This is also an antibacterial so it helps with acne as well. Cardamom: Decreases wrinkles and age spots. Rich in Vitamin C and Manganese which helps increase collagen production. Nutmeg: Antibacterial and good antioxidant as well. So as you can tell this mask is packed full of bacteria fighting ingredients and antioxidants. I’ve been using this more as a spot treatment because I want it to last longer! But overall I’m really enjoying this mask and I feel like it definitely helps calm down my acne spots.
  • Pink Grapefruit Deodorant & Antiperspirant – I was sent this for free in a sample size to try and I’ve really been loving it. This deodorant does contain baking soda, so if you’re super sensitive to it you may want to try another option. I had another deodorant with baking soda and I eventually started to get red rings under my armpits but I haven’t experienced that yet with this one. This keeps odor away all day for me, but I’m not sure about the antiperspirant part, maybe I should try the extra strength next time haha.
  • Un-Chap Stick in Lavender Cardamom – This was sent to me for free as well. I like the smell of this and it does feel moisturizing. It isn’t the most creamy consistency I’ve ever tried, though so it doesn’t feel as amazing as some other chapsticks when applying. Although it may hold up better in hot climates and not melt.

Overall I’m super happy with the products I picked up! I definitely want to try more from this brand and I will be purchasing the deodorant in the full size. Let me know if you have any favorites from Clean Living Collection 🙂
